NI Weather: Strong winds and rain

Remaining cloudy with periods of rain, heavy at times, becoming mostly confined to County Londonderry and north Antrim by the end of the night. Strong to gale force northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday: Rather cloudy start with further showers. The showers will become fewer and lighter during morning. The afternoon will be drier and brighter with sunny spells developing and winds easing down. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Rain bands crossing from the west for a time both Monday and Tuesday, most persistent across northern areas, but patchy in south. Rain spreading from south later Wednesday.
