Man arrested over ‘brutal’ Ardoyne gun attack
An arrest has been made over a paramilitary-style gun attack in north Belfast which left the victim with potentially life-changing injuries.
The 30-year-old victim was shot in both legs in the Velsheda Court area of Ardoyne on 2 October.
Police described the incident as “brutal and despicable”.
On Wednesday morning, detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime branch carried out a planned search in the Lagmore Meadows area of Belfast.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested.
