NI Weather: Frost and freezing patches

A few showers this evening, especially in the north, dying away overnight as winds ease. A widespread frost, and maybe some icy stretches, will develop under clearing skies. Some freezing fog patches are also possible. Minimum temperature -4 °C.

Tuesday: Mainly dry and bright start with the best sunshine in east. Outbreaks of rain, with hill snow, will spread east during the afternoon and evening. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Showers on Wednesday, these turning wintry later with snowfalls on high ground. Bright spells and scattered showers on Thursday and Friday. Less cold but some night frosts expected.
