Stormy conditions are taking hold across parts of Northern Ireland, with an amber warning for gale-force winds in place overnight.
Storm Eleanor is expected to particularly affect southern counties, with winds of up to 90mph possible – particularly in exposed coastal areas.
The weather warning is in place at amber level until 4am on Wednesday, when downgraded yellow warnings will still be in place.
Forecasters are warning of possible disruption to travel, power supplies and mobile phone coverage.
They are also highlighting the risk of injuries or danger to life due to flying debris.
Police are advising against making any unnecessary journeys.
