NI Weather: Patchy rain becoming more widespread

Friday night:

Dry for much of the night in the east. Rain will extend slowly eastwards to reach all but the coast by morning. Mild and breezy.

Minimum temperature 4 °C.


Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times over County Down and Antrim. Drier weather extending from the west during the afternoon and evening. Winds becoming lighter.

Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Dry start to Sunday then becoming wet and windy. Much colder on Monday and Tuesday with sunny spells, frequent wintry showers and strong south-westerly winds, gales along North Coast.
