NI Weather: Turning drier before more rain ahead

Tonight:

Mainly cloudy with the last of the rain in the east soon dying out.

It will be dry and mild overnight with southerly winds strengthening later.

Minimum temperature 4C.

Sunday:

Dry for most of daylight hours with a little sunshine.

Heavy rain reaching western areas late in afternoon will extend eastwards during evening with strong southerly winds.

Maximum temperature 8C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

A much colder few days with sunny intervals and blustery wintry showers.

Heavier showers will bring snow to low levels. Windy with strong southwest then westerly winds.
