NI Weather: Mainly dry and bright

Monday: Mainly dry and very mild with a grey and misty start giving way to brighter interludes. Thicker cloud and another band of rain reaching Fermanagh and west Tyrone later this afternoon extending eastwards to all parts this evening. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Monday night: Patchy rain at first over Antrim and Co Down soon dying out. Dry, clearer, colder weather in west will extend to all parts with touch of frost. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Tuesday: Most places will have a dry and bright day with sunny spells. There may be an isolated light afternoon shower, mainly towards North Coast. A cooler day with light winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: High pressure will continue to build across Northern Ireland bringing mostly dry and settled weather with sunny spells. It will turn colder, especially at nights with widespread frosts.
