Four men released over west Belfast ‘explosive device’

Four men arrested under the Terrorism Act, in connection with an explosive device in west Belfast last year, have been released from police custody.

The device was found in the Pantridge Road area of the city on 30 October, with the alert causing widespread disruption.

A 60-year-old man arrested in Belfast on Monday by Detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

Three other men, aged 21, 29 and 34, who were also arrested in connection with the same incident have been released unconditionally.
