Police are making a fresh appeal for information as they investigate a video posted on social media showing a rioter throwing a petrol bomb at a van in Londonderry.

The incident happened as a white van travelled down the Lecky Road, near the Bogside Inn, at about 8.30pm on 12 July.

The video caught the moment the lit petrol bomb hit the windscreen of the moving van, while an onlooker reprimanded the person – wearing a hoodie – who threw it.
