A man has appeared in court charged with a number of drug offences after more than £20,000 worth of cocaine was seized during searches in Belfast.
A quantity of prescription drugs, namely pregabalin, was also seized during Friday’s operation in the Glencairn area of the city.
The 46-year-old is accused of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
He appeared at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning and was remanded in custody.
A 51-year-old woman also facing drugs charges arising out of the seizures is due to appear in court on 13 September.
