Police are investigating an arson attack on Sinn Féin’s office in west Belfast.
A rear door at Connolly House was damaged, while paint was thrown over a front window of the building on the Andersonstown Road overnight.
Fire crews attended the scene shortly before 5am and extinguished the flames. There was no damage to the inside of the building.
Sinn Féin MP Paul Maskey called it “an attack on the democratic process”.
He said: "Clearly the people behind this are intent on trying to disrupt the services we provide to all the public.”
Police asked anyone with information to come forward.
