Astronaut Tim Peake has spoken to hundreds of local school children in Belfast about the importance of space exploration.
Mr Peake, who spent six months on the International Space Station, gave a speech at W5, the science and discovery centre at the Odyssey on Tuesday.
He was in Northern Ireland to officially launch a new satellite manufacturing facility.
Thales is investing £6m in the centre in Belfast, which is the first of its kind in the UK.
