Over a decade after the death of the former Tyrone captain Cormac McAnallen, his brother Donal has penned a touching biography reflecting on his remarkable life.
Cormac was part of the Tyrone team that secured back to back National League titles in 2002 and 2003. Later that year, the Red Hands also won the All Ireland Senior Football Championship with McAnallen rewarded with an All Star Award for his performances.
But, just a week after captaining Tyrone to the Dr McKenna Cup in 2004, the fit 24-year-old was found dead by his brother Donal on his bedroom floor.
Cormac died of a rare undetected heart condition but as Ruth Gorman reports his legacy lives on.
