Police have released a photograph of Anne O'Neill as they continue to appeal for information around her murder.

The 51-year-old died after suffering head injuries at a house on Ardmore Avenue in the Finaghy area of Belfast on Saturday morning.

Sinn Féin MLA Máirtin Ó Muilleoir said local people reported hearing a woman's screams around the time of the attack.

Detective Chief Inspector Geoffrey Boyce said: “I am appealing for anyone who resides in the Ardmore Avenue and Ardmore Park area of Finaghy and who have CCTV installed at their address to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference 338 21/10/17.”

It is understood Anne's neighbours had CCTV fitted around their homes and detectives hope to be able to see the footage as they carry out their investigation.

Two men, aged 23 and 27, arrested on suspicion of murder remain in police custody.
