Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 30s in Co Donegal.
Emergency services were called to a house in the Carndonagh area shortly after 8pm on Thursday to treat a 37-year-old man.
He was pronounced dead a short time later and his body was taken to Letterkenny Hospital.
The local Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem is due to be carried out by the State Pathologist on Saturday morning.
According to gardaí, who are continuing to preserve the scene, enquiries are ongoing and the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
