Millionaire lottery winner admits attacking his girlfriend
A millionaire lottery winner has admitted attacking his girlfriend in a luxury car bought with his winnings. Swansea Crown Court heard former professional cagefighter Gavin Davies, who is 29, attacked 22-year-old Daniah Hussain, three months after picking up a one million jackpot.
Davies was arrested after an alleged assault on the side of a busy motorway in Neath, South Wales, with Miss Hussain, the mother of his five-month old son. He yesterday admitted common assault in December last year, a month before his win and another charge of actual bodily harm in April.
Davies, from Ammanford near Swansea, was remanded in custody and will be sentenced next month.
