A charitable mystery man collected donations for a Wales Air Ambulance while it worked at the scene of a road crash.

Last Friday a Wales Air Ambulance helicopter was called to attend a young man injured in a road traffic collision on the M4 near Margam in Neath Port Talbot.

As Air Ambulance workers began treatment at the scene, a member of the public collected donations from motorists.

As the paramedics were leaving to take the patient to University Hospital Wales for further treatment, the mystery man approached the aircraft to give them the money he had collected.

The donation came to around £50 but in the hurry to get the patient to hospital the man’s details were not taken.
