As Wales celebrates after a weekend of further Olympic achievement and the best-ever games for Welsh athletes, an exclusive opinion poll for Wales Tonight reveals the huge impact of Olympic success at London 2012.
Before the games began, most Welsh people thought the Olympics would have no impact on their local area - but it seems the games have turned around the national mood.
Last month, just 15 per cent expected a positive impact and four per cent a negative one, with nearly three-quarters of us opting for no diference at all.
Now more than half of us think we've had a boost, though nearly a quarter detect a negative impact. Hardly anyone - just ten percent - now think that the games haven't had any effect.
Here's our sports correspondent Richard Morgan on how the Olympics have changed and how we feel about ourselves as a nation.
