South Wales Police have released CCTV footage of a man acting suspiciously around the time lead was stolen from Tonypandy Primary School.

The theft took place in the early hours of August 8 but was only reported on August 16. The amount of damage caused to the school was in the region of £20,000.

Neighbourhood Officers are said to have trawled hours of tape to capture this man actingsuspiciously in the school grounds at 2.37am.

It is the first time the school has been targeted by thieves in the past 12 months.

There’s every chance those responsible are from the local area. Isn’tit ironic these people may be victimising children from their ownfamilies or the families of their neighbours.
