Part of one of the largest industrial estates in North Wales was evacuated today after a fire at a trailer company.
North Wales Fire and Rescue crews were called to the Deeside Industrial Estate at around 1pm as the blaze engulfed part of Ifor Williams Trailers.
A company spokesperson says the main production area is 'largely unaffected' and work will resume as soon as possible.
Eyewitnesses described plumes of thick black smoke and loud bangs emanating from the factory.
Appliances from Deeside, Buckley, Mold, Holywell, Wrexham and St Asaph, as well as the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Environmental Protection Unit and the Incident Command Unit, were all sent to deal with the fire.
