On the whole it's been a lovely autumn day today with some good spells of sunshine, but some cloud thick enough to trigger some showers. Tonight much of the fairweather cloud from today will melt away. A scattering of showers will continue, some skirt the north east others around the north west coast. Elsewhere dry and clear with lows of 6C, possibly some grass frost in sheltered spots.
Wednesday is a repeat of Tuesday with sunshine and a few showers, some around Flintshire as they push down the Cheshire Gap, others more scattered across north Wales. Into the afternoon the showers become more isolated to the north western hills and coast. Further south it's drier but everywhere still cool with highs of 15-16C.
Unfortunately there's some rain on the way for the end of the week but Saturday looks like it will be cloudy but dry.
