Swansea City will hope to progress to the Fourth Round of the League Cup - and boost their battered confidence - when they run out at Crawley Town tonight. The Swans, without a win in their last three Premier League games, suffered a 3 - 0 home defeat against Everton on Saturday.

Manager Michael Laudrup is expected to rest several senior stars ahead of the league trip to Stoke, while Israeli striker Itay Schecter has been given permission to miss the game so he can observe the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur.

It's also a busy night in the Bluesquare Bet Premier, with Newport County and Wrexham both in action. Table topping County are away to Telford , while third placed Wrexham can keep up the pressure on their Welsh rivals by beating Barrow at the Racecourse.

Kick off in all three games is at 1945.
