Rain has been pushing across Wales through Sunday but once it moves away, don't be expecting the return of much sunshine. Tonight, the rain slowly clears from Newport and Cardiff, much of the country will be dry with clear spells but the odd shower will continue to blow in off the Irish Sea. Whilst the wind will ease it will be strong enough to maintain temperatures with lows of 9C.
Monday will see some showers from the start, there will be plenty of cloud around too. As the day progresses expect more showers to develop in the north and west and some to band into what will feel like more persistent rain. The south east of Wales will be cloudier but drier. Highs tomorrow of 15 or 16C but feeling chilly in the breeze.
Much of the week ahead is expected to be unsettled and showery, but by the end of the week it's likely to be brighter but colder.
