More than 400 jobs are to go at the AA's Cardiff call centre after the company announced plans to cut back on the number of people employed in its car and home insurance division .
The move comes as part of an efficiency review, with the company blaming the decision on a trend of people buying more insurance online.
The Cardiff base would move to a smaller premises but the AA and BSM driving school businesses will stay, securing 150 jobs.
Union representatives have desribed the plans as a blow to South Wales.
