Pupils, staff and parents at Ysgol Gynradd Machynlleth have created a special area in the school foyer to demonstrate their support for missing pupil April Jones.

Following a request from April's mother Coral, the whole school community has created individual pink bows.

Pupils have also created small individual heart-shaped messages for April and some classes have created a collection of artwork to present to April's family.

There is also an open book for parents, pupils and staff to note messages of support for April and her family.

There are scented candles and fresh flowers creating a quiet, relaxing atmosphere where staff and pupils can contemplate and pray.
