Welsh singer Charlotte Church met the Prime Minister at the Conservative conference in Birmingham today.
The mother-of-two was there to deliver a letter from victims of the phone hacking scandal, which says they are seeking 'renewed commitment' to end the self-regulation of the press.
More than 50 victims of phone hacking have written to David Cameron expressing their view that trust in the media cannot be restored if a system of self-regulation is allowed to continue.
Ms Church put her name to the letter asking for reassurance from David Cameron that he won't rule out recommendations made in the forthcoming Leveson report.
She told ITV Wales why it was so important for her to meet the Prime Minister.
