Police searching for missing vet Catherine Gowing say human remains have been found at a second location.
The 37-year-old, who is originally from Ireland but lives in New Brighton in Flintshire, was last seen at a supermarket in Queensferry on the evening of Friday 12 October.
On Wednesday, human remains were found by officers from the North Wales Police Search Teams and the Regional Underwater Search Team in a shallow pool near Manor Road in Sealand.
Yesterday afternoon human remains were found several miles away in the Higher Ferry area of Chester. An off-duty Cheshire Police officer made the discovery walking the banks of the River Dee at Ferry Lane.
North Wales Police have been alerted to the discovery, and have co-ordinated the recovery of the remains.
The results of post mortem and forensic examinations on the remains from both locations will be known next week.
46-year-old Clive Sharp from Gwynedd has been charged with her murder.
