Soggy sparklers in the south?

Today: Starting cloudy with rain and hill snow in many areas, this clearing eastwards through the morning. Sunny spells and showers thereafter, some showers heavy or thundery with hail, and still wintry on hills. Still breezy and generally feeling rather cold. Maximum Temperature 9 °C.

Tonight: Showers largely becoming confined to western coastal areas overnight, allowing clear spells and patchy frost inland. Becoming cloudier from the south after midnight though, with rain for the southeast. Minimum Temperature -1 °C.

Sunday: Rain clearing southeast Wales, with cloud following to leave many places brighter for a time. Further cloud and showers spreading from the southwest later. Winds easing but still feeling chilly. Maximum Temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Some heavy showers on Monday, dying out towards evening. Tuesday starting dry and bright, but clouding over with occasional light rain later. Wednesday breezy and cloudy with rain at times.
