Record-breaking vintage car visits Wrexham

In 1926 a long-nosed car - affectionately named Babs - lined up on the straight sands at Pendine in Carmarthenshire and broke the world's land speed record with a Welshman at the wheel.

This week, for one day only - after a long and chequered history - Babs returned to Wrexham, the town where her driver was born - and an awful lot of people made a motoring pilgrimage to see her.

Rob Shelley was one of them.
