It was an inclement start to the week. Rain from earlier today has cleared eastwards, meanwhile a feeble cold front has arrived in the northwest.
Tonight will be mild and cloudy everywhere. At some point during the night a second cold front will nudge into northern and western parts of Wales. But it will stay there and it's unlikely to venture much further south east before pushing back into the Irish Sea. Lows just nudge single figures.
Tuesday keeps some dampness to the northwest, elsewhere it will be cloudy and once again parts of east Wales could see the odd spot of brightness. We remain in a warm sector that will see highs of 13C, although it may feel cool in a strong southerly breeze.
Wednesday will see plenty of cloud around but it may well end up being the day we see best of the brightness this week.
