Memories of the Welsh-Italian cafe culture are being preserved online by the owner of a historic Conti cafe.

Jo Conti is working with the People's Collection Wales to preserve almost 45,000 items, including old photographs and video stories, which will be able to be viewed online.

Jo has taken on the project along with her cousin, Angelo Conti, to share photographs of their family's cafes - renowned for their home-made ice-cream.

The photographs will be displayed on a website created to share the history and experience of cafe culture in Wales.
