Elderly woman dies in hospital after arson attack
An elderly woman whose car had been set alight during a spate of arson attacks in the Wrexham area has died in hospital.
She became ill and was taken to hospital shortly after hearing that her Ford Fiesta had been torched outside her home in the Hightown part of the town.

We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident prior to her being taken to hospital and are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.
A man has been questioned and released on bail while police continue to investigate the arson attacks.
