It's a grey and overcast end to the week and it ends very much the same way that it began with rain around. A grey and overcast afternoon ahead with rain starting to form across southern parts of the country.
Elsewhere it will be murky and misty, particularly on the hills and it will feel on the cool side with highs of 8-10C.
Overnight the rain band has lurked to the north west of the UK finally begins it's push across us meaning we'll all see some wet weather at times, the heaviest of the rain will on all the western high ground and the Brecon Beacons.
Temperatures won't be that much cooler than today's highs.
The rain clears through tomorrow morning with brighter weather arriving in the west. Into the afternoon there should be some good sunny spells around although it won't be wall to wall sunshine and there could be the odd isolated shower.
It will be cooler and fresher on Saturday with highs in single figures
