It might not look like it could compete with the best houses in the UK, but this relatively modest house has won a prize as the one of the best new builds in the country.

It's an eco-friendly home in Brynna Woods and it's up for sale for £465,000. It shared the award with another new build in central London with a price-tag of £2 million.

It is part of a £30 million development of luxury homes is set in 88 acres of woodland.

The level of competition was exceptionally high, and this award is testament to the property's uniqueness and attention to detail. It looks like, and is, a work of art at a price far, far cheaper than you would expect.
