Swansea City defender Alan Tate has joined Leeds United on loan until January. The 30 year-old last played for the Swans during their defeat at home to Everton in September. Tate, who has played 325 games for the club since joining in 2002, will go straight into the Leeds side to face Crystal Palace on Saturday United boss Neil Warnock told the clubs official web site.
– NEIL WARNOCK, LEEDS UNITED MANAGERHe is a lad who I've always enjoyed playing against.
He is a leader and I felt these last few weeks we've lacked leaders. It's great to have him in.
We're short on bodies in there, Jason is suspended, so he'll play on Saturday.
He's got a great attitude, it's a super club for him.
