Good morning to you! As we start the day today I'm afraid it's not the best of news on the weather front. The Met Office has warnings in force for strong winds and heavy rain - a miserable combination! Western areas are more likely to see prolonged and heavy downpours, but even further inland there won't be any escape. This all accompanied by winds of up to 60mph in exposure. If, after all of this, you are in the least bit interested in the temperature, we are expecting highs of up to 12 degrees c - not bad for November!
Just watch out for patches of localised flooding - we have had so much rain this week the ground is already saturated, and as the autumn leaves continue to gather on the ground there could well be flooding problems again today.
Batten the hatches!
