North Wales floods: Welsh Secretary thanks rescuers in St Asaph and Ruthin
Volunteers helping the victims of flooding in north Wales say they've been 'overwhelmed with generosity'.
Hundreds of items of clothing and household goods have been donated by the public, local shops and charities.
It comes as the Welsh Secretary David Jones visited flood-hit sites to offer support to victims who are angry at what's happened to them.
Ian Lang has the story.
Thanks again to emergency services I met today - @envagencywales, @nwpolice, and @northwalesfire; all have worked flat out over last 48 hrs.
From @DavidJonesMP on Twitter:Thanks also to @britishredcross and @wrvs and other volunteers staffing the rest centre at St Asaph; huge commitment and community spirit.
From @DavidJonesMP on Twitter:And it was the community spirit on display that was the uplifting part of today. People are at their best in times of trouble.
