Spring-like conditions, but wintry-feeling temperatures!

Well over the next few days, high pressure is firmly in the driving seat, which effectively means calm and quiet conditions. Western areas will enjoy the best of any brighter spells, but it will be bitterly cold everywhere. However, there are signs already that Spring is just a whisker away.
