Family fight for daughter held in Dominican Republic

The family of a Cardiff mother-of-two jailed on a Caribbean island have launched a campaign to have her freed.

They say that Nicole Reyes, who is originally from Rumney, has been locked up for seven months without charge following an incident in which her husband died.

In an exclusive interview with ITV Cymru Wales, Nicole's mother Jeannette Clements said: "I could never, ever explain what we've gone through."

Nicole's daughter Leah Jackson added: "I see my friends with their mums. All I want, and all my brother wants, is for our mum to be home."
