A couple from Cardiff who bought a derelict chapel in Cwmbran say they aren't concerned about local rumours that it may be haunted. They're hoping to have it renovated in six months.

The seventeenth-century chapel and its graveyard at St Dials in Cwmbran were valued at around £8,000, but eventually sold at auction for £46,000.

Planning permission has been granted to turn the building into a one-bedroom home.

Stephen Quinn who bought the chapel says "the rumours of the chapel being haunted don't bother me as I am not superstitious but it does add to the romance of the building."
