An established West End performer is returning home to Wales to take up the lead role as the national tour of Ghost The Musical arrives in Cardiff.

Rebecca Trehearn is playing Molly Jenson as the musical starts at the Wales Millenium Centre.

Rebecca trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and has gone on to star in numerous West End shows, including Dirty Dancing and We Will Rock You.

Ghost The Musical is based on the Academy Award-winning film and is directed by the Tony award-winning Matthew Warchus.

Conrad Lynch, Artistic director of Wales Millennium Centre said that they are delighted that the UK tour will start in Cardiff and said it's "a great platform to show off Wales and with Rebecca Trehearn as a Welsh leading lady, it’s the icing on the cake”.

By attracting some of the West End’s most prominent producers to open UK tours here in Cardiff, it reinforces Wales Millennium Centre’s status as being an iconic world class arts centre.

Ghost The Musical is another to add to our list of large scale UK touring productions, which have opened at the centre including the exceptionally popular Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables and Oliver and Andrew Lloyd’s Webber, The Sound of Music – all of which went on to phenomenal success.
