April Jones murder trial: accused Mark Bridger "was an emotional wreck" when arrested, court hears

The police officer who arrested Mark Bridger - the man accused of murdering schoolgirl April Jones - told a court the defendant was an 'emotional wreck' after his arrest. PC Philip Saunders told the jury at Mold Crown Court Mr Bridger broke down in tears and said April had been crushed under his car.

The 47-year-old who denies all the charges against him went onto say 'it was an accident' and he 'doesn't know where she is'.

Carole Green reports from the court.
