What a huge amount of talent there is on show at the Assembly. Never more so than at First Minister's Questions. While Tory leader, Andrew RT Davies was quizzing First Minister Carwyn Jones on the success or otherwise of the construction industry in Wales, one of his party sitting behind him was clearly practicising for a forthcoming talent show.
Janet Finch Saunders who loyally shouts out encouragement to her leader and brickbats to the Welsh Government in equal quantities, was this afternoon, focusing her efforts on giving a sterling rendition of that well know Wedding staple ' The Birdie Song ' as once performed by the Tweets in the 1980's.Not so easy to perform sitting down but our Janet gave it a go!
But Janet isn't the only one with hidden talents. Sandy Mewies has been working on a book you know! And while the FM was fending off questions from Plaid Leader, Leanne Wood on the issue of child poverty in Wales, lo and behold Sandy had just proudly put the finishing touches to her first novel written by hand in her blue folder.
And finally, while the Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, Kirsty Williams was quizzing Carwyn Jones on the fine points of the new bill that will protect those in need of social care. Kirsty asking seemingly difficult questions like '' who would be eligible for social care under the new bill '', behind her lurked William Powell, that master of ventriloquism. Amazing !
