Housing Minister Carl Sargeant has been spelling out his plans to simplify complicated law governing how homes are rented. In the white paper, he says that he would like to see complicated contracts for both private and social housing reduced to only two types.
The Welsh Government says it wants to make things easier for both tenants and landlords. But those who represent landlords fear it could be expensive to introduce and might even push up the cost of renting.
