Rain, wind, but it didn't stop you from taking pictures

In a week of topsy turvy weather (most of the action taking place across eastern parts of the UK) we've had some dramatic looking cloudscapes bringing heavy showers from time to time. Nick captured this beautiful shot in north Wales when occasional sunshine illuminated both the lush grassland and dark moody clouds.

This shot caught my eye on our Flickr stream... could this be the prairies of mid America? Er... no, turns out it's a lot closer to home... Rhyl in fact!

I'm in two minds whether to have this as a piccy of the week. It's a glorious picture, I can't deny, however, closer inspection (cloudless skies should have been a giveaway) shows that it wasn't taken recently! In fact, it was taken in February! I'll let Patrick get away with it this time...

Normally I spot a picture each week with the 'aaaaah' factor, this week Darren gets the 'ooooh' factor. As in, oooh that's clever....

And finally, I couldn't let the week go by and having no animals represented here. This week saw a big stream of insect pics being uploaded to our flickr pages and greatest number were bees. This little chap looks like a punk with orange hair!

Some good picture taking weather during the week ahead, so email us, tweet us and join our Flickr stream, search for ITV Wales Your Pictures.
