There have been plenty of warnings issued about swimming in open water. Here the water was shallow enough for a safe refreshing shower courtesy of a waterfall at Sgwd yr Eira.
Hot weather wasn't the only reason for getting out an about. The air show in Swansea provided more spectacle in the sky than the sun alone. The beach was packed, luckily the tide was out to make room!
And here's what the crowds came to see... even more impressive without too much cloud around.
It wasn't just the Red Arrows adding a splash of colour to the skies. The Pontcysyllte Aquaduct looked a little more colourful than usual as part of the Under The Arches Festival.
With all the hot sunshine around maybe you'd like to see some more clouds? Of course not, but some relief from the heat would be nice!
