For many there was more sunshine around on Sunday than had been expected, but it it's been slow in arriving it will continue to push across Wales overnight introducing light drizzly rain and mist, particularly on the western high ground but it could be more extensive. A mild night with lows in double figures.
Monday will be mainly grey with the odd drizzly outbreak of rain there will be some bright spells from time to time too. Highs once again of 18C.
The next few days sees high pressure developing to the northwest of the UK, this will see a more northerly flow of air across the country and see temperatures dipping to 14C by Thursday. This is the sort of weather you'd expect at this time of year but markedly cooler that what we've come to expect.
