Tonight the winds ease further and with clear spells around we'll see temperatures fall much further than recent nights. That combination will also allow some fog patches to form. Expect temperatures in rural parts to fall to 5C, more like 8/9C near the coast.
Thursday will see plenty of bright or even sunny spells with thicker cloud further to the south west. Lighter winds make up for a chillier start to the day. As the we head through the day we'll see more cloud push northeastwards across Wales. Temperatures remain above average with highs of 15-16C.
More rain pushes across Wales overnight Thursday in to Friday which is set to linger during Friday morning. Things will brighten up later in the day. It remains breezy throughout and there will be more rain on Friday night AND Saturday night. The top-ups of rain could increasingly lead to flooding which is why a yellow warning is in force on Friday for rain covering the southern third of Wales.
