Public meeting to be held on Anglesey over National Grid pylon plans

People in Anglesey are meeting tonight to discuss plans to build pylons right across the island. They are designed to connect renewable projects and the proposed new nuclear power station to the national network.

The National Grid want to use pylons overground. But many locals want that connection to come in the form of under sea cables so they don't ruin the landscape. That option, however is three times more expensive.
