Turning wet and windy through Friday with hill snow

This Evening and Tonight:

Showers, locally wintry, will clear during the evening and winds will ease. This will allow temperatures to fall, leading to patches of frost and ice. However, rain and strong winds may reach southern coasts by morning. Minimum temperature 0 deg C (32 deg F).

Friday:

Very wet and windy weather will spread north during the morning, bringing gales, hill snow at first, and the risk of local disruption. Rain turning more showery during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 11 deg C (52 deg F).

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Strong winds and rain or showers will slowly ease on Saturday, leaving a mostly dry and bright day on Sunday with much lighter winds. More rain is expected on Monday.
